Seymour Old Collegians’ Soccer, more affectionately known as 'SOCS', is a unique team established in 2010 by past students Anthea Pazios and Tori Akkermans competing within the Football Federation of South Australia Divisions. In all respects, SOCS is a player driven club empowering women with the aid of qualified coaching staff.

SOCS is an inclusive team which encourages women from any school/university and workplace to participate in soccer.

The age of our players range from 16 to mid 30 year olds.

Currently, the club has 2 competitive teams playing in the Football Federation of South Australia Divisions 2 and 6.

SOCS fosters an environment where players, volunteers and supporters can share the joys of competitive sport in a fun and social setting.

SOCS train and play their home matches on the beautiful Mitchell Oval at Seymour College and recognizes that their players have all sorts of work and study commitments so the Club is very accommodating.

Currently, we train once a week on a Wednesday evening.

SOCS has been very successful, since our inception in 2010 we have been privileged enough to be awarded the following:

  • 2010 Division 5 Premiership Winner
  • 2012 Collegiate League Premiership Winners
  • 2014 Collegiate League Premiership Winners
  • 2015 Division 4/5/Collegiate Cup Winner
  • 2016 Collegiate League Premiership Winners
  • 2021 Divison 4/5/6 Cup Runner's Up
  • 2022 Division 3 Runner's Up

The Alma Tavern is our major sponsor. This provides the Club with a great meeting place where the team can socialise off the sporting field. We hold numerous functions at The Alma throughout the year culminating in a formal end of year presentation night to recognize the players’ efforts during the season.

We encourage anyone interested in playing for SOCS to contact the club, come out and meet the team and bring your friends along.
