2025 BIG FREEZE SLIDERS
Thank you and welcome to our 2025 Sliders!
DYLAN & MATT REID
First up this year is husband & wife combo Matty Reid and Dylan Reid. Matty is our current Women’s coach but has filled many other roles at the club including reserves coach, colts coach, league runner and committee man. Dylan has been an off field superstar helping the club stay afloat with tonnes of hours in admin roles. It’s unknown at this stage if they will be sliding as a duet or solo..
MC SAM TRUSSO
In big news I can also announce that we have secured the services of former CVFC player and current Nova FM shock jock Samuel Trusso to MC the event. Be great to see Sammy back around the club for the day.
KIM SCHOFIELD & ANDIE PAYNE
Time to announce our next 2 sliders, this week we have two superstars from our playing group in Andie Payne and Kim Schofield.
Andie has put together a pretty impressive footy CV where she been a WAFLW captain for Claremont, a GNFL & CVFC Fairest & Best winner as well as a State Country rep - perhaps a Valley premiership is all that remains ! Her professionalism and skill level has been a real asset for our Women’s program.
Similarly Kim has put together an awesome footy CV where he has represented East Freo in the WAFL, been a State Country rep as well as being a JJ Clune Medalist and a key cog in our drought breaking League Premiership last season. Kim has also bought a high level of professionalism to the club and gives up plenty of time supporting the Juniors as well.
Thanks to these 2 Superstars for taking the plunge
DARREN FORRESTER & ROBBIE CULLOTON
Our next 2 Sliders to announce are a couple of all time Valley favourites in Darren “ Chook” Forrester and Robbie “ Bug” Culloton.
Both men have been long time supporters and contributors of CVFC and are still heavily involved today. Will be a big day for both gents as I’m sure they will be doing a spot of umpiring prior to going down the Slide. Thanks for your acceptance Chook and Bug and we appreciate all you’ve done for us over the years
WELCOME TO OUR TOWNS REPRESENTATIVES:
DALE BAYNES
JAY O'BRIEN
JORJA BEVEN
ROHAN FARISS
BRONNY BAIN
Next up is our incredibly hard working head trainer Bronny Bain. As we all know Bronny puts in a tonne of work on match day and it is always very reassuring to have her around. We’ve been lucky to have her services and it’s great she’s agreed to Slide.
KIRRILEE WARR MLA
Next up is our new Member for Parliament in Kirrilee Warr. It’s been quite the ride for Kirra who at one point played quite a prominent role at CVFC. She’s a former club secretary and was also one of the driving forces behind the clubs initial women’s team - the Faye Barndon Powderpuff side !
LEON CHAPMAN
And lastly is Leon Chapman who will be representing Mitchell & Brown who are again generously on board as the major supporter of the Goal Kicking Pledge. Chappy also played in quite a few Towns premierships back in the day !
Thanks again to all of our Sliders….looks like being another big day and night..
Thank you Barry at Snap Action for the photos 2024 2023 2019

We’re giving businesses and individuals the option to donate either $20, $10, $5, $2 or $1 for every goal kicked (note this is for both CV and Towns in all grades - colts, reserves, women and league.)

Other ways you can support the fundrasier is by purchasing Big Freeze Merchandise on the day or donating directly to the fundraising link
would be extremely grateful if you would please consider supporting us by donating to fund vital research, effective treatments, and ultimately a cure for MND.
