Games

Saints Rugby competes in the Sunshine Coast Rugby Union competition, which is governed by the Queensland Rugby Union and the Australian Rugby Union.

The competition consists of 10 junior clubs - Saints Rugby, Noosa, Eumundi, USC, Sunshine Coast Grammar, Maroochydore, Mathew Flinders, Brothers, Caloundra and Maleny.

Games take place on Saturday mornings, with the younger sides starting as early as 8.00am, and the last games finishing at around 2.00pm.

Players are expected to be at their game 30 minutes before kick-off to warm up.

Rules

The way rugby is played gradually progresses according to age.

This table summarises what to expect for each age group up to U12.

U13s upwards play the adult game, with a couple of minor technical adjustments.
